The brief
Huhtamaki pride themselves on being a highly efficient and innovative packaging company, which provides customers with products that exceed their expectations. To maintain this stance, it was necessary to further understand the requirements of caterers and the use of foodservice disposables.
The Rawlingson Lane Action
Rawlingson Lane Publicity suggested to Huhtamaki that independent research be commissioned, and so the 'Foodservice Disposables Report'
was born, and involved a telephone survey of over 300 caterers in the key sectors.
Caterers were questioned about their business and, more specifically, their disposable product usage, in order for Huhtamaki to be able to better understand the needs of caterers and the use of disposable products within the industry.
Rawlingson Lane Publicity oversaw the Report from start to finish, and worked with a specialist research team to develop the questionnaire and gather data. Analysis of results, copywriting, graphic design, as well as Report design and layout were all organised and managed by RLP.
The Report has provided Huhtamaki with credible and reliable data for use in internal and external communications. Trends were identified and key facts and figures were established - a great way of enhancing editorial copy and feature submissions with detail to substantiate and support claims.
